Food in Ubud, Indonesia

Ubud in Bali is a health food haven. Lots of trendy (some might say pretentious) cafes full of health food shakes and juices. It wasn't too expensive though and the food was really pretty good. I'm just not one for the minimalist cafes whose focus is more on being fashionable than serving good food...

Hot Chocolate served near the top of a volcano. Simply delicious!

Banana Sandwich, boiled egg and small dog friend.

Amazing Noodle curry!

Sandwich love <3

Chicken Curry

I love dried mango. But this was a bit weird and covered with sugar.

A calamari and Avocado salad. Just add mozzarella and I'd be happy for ever more.

Do we have this in England too? Filled with biscuit and something resembling Turkish delight.

Nasi Goreng. Fried rice, chicken, prawn crackers and pork skewers.

Sprite and Arrack cocktail (sometimes spelt Arak) A traditional Balinese spirit made from coconut.

Breakfast at my home stay.

Real Ginger tea and Melon at my spa afternoon

Lemon drink
Deep Fried jack fruit

Everything we cooked at the Bali Cooking Class.

And our banana desert

Last bread for 45 days (Lent)

Beef tacos. Yum Yum Yum.

Amazing chocolate cake.

Avocado juice. Yuck.

Hummus and raw vegetable. Fan-flipping-tastic.

Lemon and Ginger juice.

The strangest fish and chips I've ever had...

Chocolate at KL Airport.

Something English on the plane home.

My souvenirs from Bali.
